The Future And The Economy
Our economic system remains wired for short-term gains, endlessly consuming energy and natural resources. What if even the best intentions and transition efforts are doomed to fail unless we transform the very foundation of how the economy works?
In SALLY’s latest experience participants are invited to step into the challenges and possibilities of re-imagining the economy within planetary boundaries.

The thinking in The Future and The Economy has been inspired by many organizations and thinkers — including Doughnut Economics, Beyond GDP, ecological economics, degrowth, and regenerative economics
A major source of inspiration also comes from our colleagues at EY’s New Economy Unit. Their work offers a sharp analysis of the flaws of the current economic system — and explores what a future- fit economy could look like.
We are currently exploring this topic further and are happy to connect with thinkers and doers in this area. Want to talk? Connect with mikael.arman@doberman.ey.com.
